One of the top producers in the world.
A Piedmontese family of entrepreneurs since 1831. Firstly in the textile industry, then in publishing and now also in wine-growing. Boroli is a 2nd generation producer of very fine Barolo. An estate which has holdings in some of Barolo’s greatest vineyards sites including Cerequio and Villero. The family-run winery is committed to producing wines that express the unique terroir of their vineyards. They adhere to sustainable farming practices and take a minimal intervention approach to winemaking.
The wines produced here are a combination of power and rich dark fruits. It could be argued that Borolo is a modernist as they used French oak, but that is not the whole picture: the wines are properly extracted with dense, rich tannins and no typicity sacrificed for their richness.
